ANLI POLLICINO APPRECIATION POST

Hello people, how are you?

So I was listening to Anli Pollicino, because I searched for the songs when I did
that post about SfaR, to know who where they playing with, and they're really good ♪
The band started in 2006, when Kiyozumi (drums) asked Shindy (vocals) to join his new band. And Shindy invited Takuma (guitar).After that, Yohichi and Masatoshi (bass) joined the band. In november 2009 they released their first min-album, called Fahrenheit31, and received attention from a european label, and did an European tour, including France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium and Netherlands.

DEMI LOVATO APPRECIATION POST

Hey people :B
I was going to do a post about Anli Pollicino, but I didn't because I was procrastinating did a lot of things today. (it's true actualy, but whatever XD)
The point is, yeah, I DO like Demi, she's the only one of this Disney's singers who actually have my respect u.ú

She was born in August 20, 1992. At age seven, she started acting on children's television series Barney & Friends as Angela, and she also began playing piano. On a interview, she revealed going through painful experiences with bullying in the seventh grade. It was so bad that one day she requested her mom give her a home-schooled education and earned a high school diploma through homeschooling in April 2009. In another interview, she said that she had a "really unhealthy relationship with food" since age 8 because people used to cal her "fat", and self-mutilated her wrists to cope with her depression since age 11. Later she became a spokesperson for anti-bullying organization PACER and appeared on America's Next Top Model and CNN to speak out against bullying.

SWANSONG FOR A RAVEN APPRECIATION POST

So a long time ago I met that girl on poupeé girl and I found out she's a singer and I HAD to listen to them ;D and I loved it ❤
Their youtube channel have four videos, this one is my favorite:

Basically, the band is formed by:

Raven (singer)

Cathouse (bass)

Scars (guitar)

Aveda (guitar)

Bro (drums)

SfaR was founded by CatHouse and Raven in 2007. In december 2008, the video of Baby Goth Metal was shot. It was a reference to all the visual influences of the bandand the first autoproduced EP was released in february 2009.
After that, SfaR started to forge its name on the Alsacian scene, and played with the Japanese band Anli Pollicino, and also at the 2010 Artefacts festival which took place at La Laiterie in Strasbourg.
Their first album "Love, Darkness and Decadence", was released on the 1st of July 2011.

RUSSIAN FOLKLORE ( NATURE SPIRITS )

Hi

So, here's the post about nature spirits, since I've made that one about domestic spirits.

LESHII

The master of the forest and wild animals. Outside of the forest, leshii was interchangeable with the devil. It looks like a peasant without a belt, who could vary his size and who frequently had features of the devil. The leshii could be transformed into a familiar person, a beast, a domestic animal, or a mushroom. Tricks: Could lead a peasant astray, make him sick, or tickle him to death. Was known to hide woodcutters’ axes and carry off young girls and women. 

LESOVIKHA

The leshii’s wife. 

VODIANOI, VODIANOI CHËRT

An evil water spirit who drowned people.Looks like a naked old man, or half-fish, half-human, covered with mire, slime, or scales, sometimes with a long beard and green hair. Features of the devil. Could be transformed into a fish. 

VODIANIKHA

The wife of the vodianoi. 

RUSALKA

A drowned maiden or the soul of an unbaptized child, who was connected with the unclean force. Was known to steal children and entice, tickle to death, or drown passersby. Could be the vodianoi’s wife or consort. Often appeared as a woman with long hair, but the external representation was inconsistent.

BEREGINIA

The river bank female spirit.

POLEVOI

The spirit of the field, who had qualities of both domovoi and leshii.

POLUDNISTA

A female spirit of the fields. 

LUGOVIK

The spirit of the meadows.

BOLOTNYI

The spirit of the swamps.

RUSSIAN FOLKLORE (DOMESTIC SPIRITS)

 Yesterday I was thinking about posting a myth, but then I decided to post about the creatures first, and after that I'll post stories 〷◠‿◠〷

DOMOVOI 

A spirit who help with domestic chores. Domovoi played tricks on people only when the owners were lazy or negligent, and lived in harmony with things from the church. It looks like an old peasant with a long gray beard; also appeared as a cat or a dog. Tricks: Stole neighbor’s oats; if unhappy, was known to mess up the yard, tangle needlework, spread manure on the door, or, in extreme cases of anger, suffocate the victim. 

DOMIKHA, DOMOVIKHA, DOMOVICHKA

The wife of the domovoi. 

KIKIMORA, SHISHIMORA

A female spirit that, in some regions, was believed to be the wife of the domovoi. 

DVOROVOI

A spirit that lived in the yard, had the same appearance as domovoi, but was evil-natured.

BANNIK

A dangerous spirit known both to protect peasants and to kill them by suffocating them or peeling their skin. 

BANNAIA, BANNIKHA

The wife of the bannik. 

OVINNIK

The most evil and dangerous of the domestic spirit, lived in the threshing barn. Also called gumennik and ryzhnyi khoziain.

Hello :B

So, after a loong time,another text  ◕‿‿◕ 

 How are you guys? I'm fucked at school --' It's so frustrating because I have to study a lot of things I won't even use. I know all this math/physics/chemistry stuff IS important, and I really think it's interesting, but not being good at it doesn't mean you can't be good at anything.  Really, do I need to solve this:

J+5 = (A + 5)/2

To write about history and mythology??

 And I have this math teacher who's always saying stuff like "a normal person can do this in 15 seconds". Great, so there's about 5 normal people on my grade. I have this super-smart friends and he spend a lot of time just saying that "if they can, we can", and even they think this is ridiculous, different people have different abilities, and they shouldn't compare us. Specially a teacher. u.ú

 Actually, there are some other teachers who like to told us how their subject is easy, but THIS one pisses me off. Last monday he was explaining something about probability and no one understood. I was just sitting there like "see, I'm not the only weird kid here".

 Changing the subject, last week my biology teacher said something about some people who were found doing drugs, drinking and having sex at the cemetery. A cemetery! Really, WTF? People can't respect anyone? Not even the dead? This is ridiculous, what's wrong with the world?

 Respect is the only thing that can change the world, and people are doing it wrong. u.ú sometimes we say bad things, always, but we can be better. Actually, I say shitty stuff all the time, but I'm trying to be a better person, and we all can do this. If we try our hardest, we can change everything *-*

 Think about it.
